The Bureau deals with the prosecution affairs of the second stage of trial, exercising independent power in terms of the court in the judicial areas of the counties in both Hualien and Taitong, covering 8,141 square kilometer with a population of over 528,000. The Bureau is also in charge of the supervision of the prosecution affairs of the local court in this jurisdiction of Hualien and Taitong.
